(More)…]]> It was just a beautiful day on Wednesday, so we took off to the Zoo (again). A few of months I decided to take Xander on a trip  Auckland Zoo and decided to buy ‘friends of the zoo‘ annual pass. The Adult/Child Flexipass gives parents great flexibility. You get annual pass with your child’s photo as well as an adult guest pass – allowing any adult to bring that child into the Zoo. We have already gotten our moneys worth.

I really like the idea of not having to rush and know that we can just go back as and when.

Although, he is still a bit young, he seems to really enjoy it. Instead of pushing him around in his stroller, I would just strap him to me, using his BabyBjörn Baby Carrier. This way, he sees a whole lot more this way.

However, it does get a little tiring for me now that he’s getting bigger and heavier, but still totally worth it. Thankfully, we are not there for hours. Its usually an hour or two, if we decide to stop and have lunch or a snack.
