(More)…]]> Aaron, the girls and I decided to go back to Butterfly Creek as they now have a new section with crocodiles, alligators and tarantulas. It is a nice family outing. There is a lot to see with the butterflies, the crocs, the farm where you can pet the bunnies and feed the other animals (pigs, goats, chickens, sheep, ducks). You can also take a little train ride around the farm which our 2 year old absolutely loved!

The cafe/restaurant has good food including healthy options but is not cheap. They provide indoor or outdoor sitting. Outdoor is nice for the kids as the tables are next to the playground which include a spring free trampoline. The entrance to the cafe and playground is free.

It is free for kids under 3 but we found it was still quite expensive for just 2 adults ($40) as we took the full package option.
